Features
Everything a real answer needs.
Most retirement calculators ask three questions and draw a line. This one models your life: both of you, every account, your taxes, your dates.
Plan
Seven short pages, each one thing.
Who you are, what you earn, what you own and owe, your home, what you spend, what you save, and when each of you stops. Skip any of them and come back.

Reports
Every year, to the end of the plan.
Net worth, income and spending, and taxes, year by year. Every date the plan works out, soonest first. The whole ledger as a table you can download, and, with Pro, a report you can print.

Decisions
Every choice, in dollars.
Every choice you control, ranked by what it adds to what your plan leaves: when each of you claims Social Security, whether to convert to Roth, which account to draw first, which debt to clear, the earliest age that holds, the most you can safely spend. The Roth and withdrawal tools come with Pro.

Confidence
Tested against every market since 1871.
Then 10,000 simulated futures. The share that held, the worst year, and how often spending would have had to drop.

Assumptions
Every rate shows its source.
Every rate the plan runs on, with its published source and a link to the page that changes it.

The research the defaults stand on is in the guides: Bengen’s 1994 study of withdrawal rates, the Trinity study, Shiller’s market record, the IRS tax tables and Social Security’s own rules. When the plan simplifies, it says so.
